Shampoo bars are an eco friendly way to help the environment. Made with better ingredients than the plastic bottle options you find in big name stores. We recommend that this shampoo bar is best suited for normal to dry & thin hair as most of the ingredients provide lots of moisture and hair growth benefits. This shampoo bar does NOT need an apple cider vinegar rinse after using, though you may use it if you desire. Please stop use if causes irritations to scalp or body, though this shampoo bar is safe for sensitive scalp and skin, we cannot guarantee that absolutley no allergies or irritations may occur. Ingredients Benefits for Hair
SLSa (Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate) - Derived from coconut & palm oils, it is a mild foaming (think soap/bubbles) agent that removes surface oil, dirt & bacteria, without stripping or drying sensitive skin.
SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate) - Derived from coconut oil, it has a gentle foaming lather, removes dirt & debris from surface of hair & skin.
BTMS-50 (Behentrimonium Methosulfate (and) Cetyl Alcohol (and) Butylene Glycol) - Derived from rapeseed oil, it is a mild emulsifying & conditioning agent, it helps detangle, gives a silky shine & smooths out frizz.
Cetyl Alcohol - Derived from vegatable, palm & coconut oils, it helps to reduce the surface tension of water and helps the oils penetrate your hair strands.
Aloe Vera Oil - Moisturizes, promotes hair growth, helps itchy/dry scalp, & softens hair.
Silk Amino Acids - Derived from the silkworm. It treats damage & adds a protective barrier that seals in moisture, strengthens, increases length retention, reduces frizz & softens hair.
Castor Oil - Derived from the castor bean plant, it promotes hydration & hair growth, reduce & prevent hair follicle inflammation, increased shine and shaft flexability.
Vitamin E Oil - Has natural antioxidant properties, may help to prevent hair loss, replenishes shine.
DL Panthenol (Pro Vitamin B12) - Moisturizes, increases shine, makes hair feel fuller, smooths hair & soothes scalp.
Perservative (Germall Plus Liquid) - Paraben free, effective against bacteria, mold & yeast.
Fragrance - We only use clean scents from CandleScience. This means our fragrances do not have any phthalates, carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive, organ or acute toxins in it. These fragrances are in compliance with the California Prop 65 list.
Mica Powder - We use mica for coloring purposes in our products. It is made from a natural mineral called muscovite. Muscovite is a silicate mineral, in the same family as quartz. Before it's processed, mica comes out of the ground in large pearlescent sheets or flakes, which have a naturally shimmering, iridescent property.
